Breitbart

A grieving Erika Kirk spoke out for the first time after her husband, Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, was assassinated while speaking at Utah Valley University on Wednesday.

“I want to thank the millions of people who have shown their love for Charlie here in Phoenix, across America, and worldwide,” Erika said. “I want to thank my husband’s dear friend, Vice President Vance, and his phenomenal wife, Usha, for their love and support. You guys honored my husband so well, bringing him home.”

“I want to thank President Trump and his incredible family for the same. Mr. President, my husband loved you,” Erika continued. “And, he knew that you loved him too. He did. Your friendship was amazing. You supported him so well.” watch

  1. I just watched it.
She is a very strong woman, being able to speak so powerfully after what she just experienced.
I hope she can steer TP USA into an organization so strong it overpowers the leftist run schools all over the world.

Totally agree. However she should NOT be the one doing the student confrontational shit. There talking about Ben Shapiro doing it. Big mistake. His allegiance is to Israel plus he’s a little non threatening little pussy. Here’s who I think should take Charlies place. David Harris Jr. And here’s why. Charlie was a big guy so he had them on the defensive dead bang. Charlie has a quick wit. Charlie knew his shit. The only possible replacement is Harris. He’s a big time patriot and he’s black immediately eliminating the racists bull shit. If you agree start e mailing. I think I’m on to something.

  3. @Brad,

Agree on Shapiro and objectively on Erika… She needs to raise Charlie’s kids, priority one.

As for Harris… I’m not saying he’s a bad pick, but… Is he that interested? Is he that committed? That’s the problem here. Following in the footsteps of Charlie Kirk, as with any Martyr, you not only have to have the skills, you have to be willing to die. He’s not one easy to replace.

In a similar vein… This is why nobody can fill Rush Limbaugh’s time slot… They try, but… Fail.

  4. I totally agree with Bad Brad.

A big NO on Ben Shapiro! Charlie’s Christian message is just as important as his political stance that he built his reputation on. And Ben is not a good representative for Christ.

  5. I watched this video of a brave, faithful Christian woman with God’s strength speaks of her equally faithful Christian husband’s martyrdom. It has sparked a Holy Spirit fire in her to carry on his ministry. A memorial full of hope for the future.

For Christians we mourn, still shed tears, but are encouraged and yes, rejoice our brother Charlie in his death has drawn millions to Christ. This awesome widow has inspired me to continue, with boldness, sharing the Gospel of Christ with others.

Don’t let sadness, anger and hatred keep you from watching this awesome Christian woman’s determination to move forward as God would have it. That’s the best way to truly honor Charlie Kirk’s legacy.

  6. Ben Shapiro is trying to place himself in Charlie’s position. I can’t imagine anyone is recruiting him for it. He couldn’t carry Charlie’s lunch box! Not only that, no one wants to hear what he has to say.

  7. I did watch her statement. Her composure was impressive and she did better than I could have under similar circumstances. I think she is running on a bit of anger…..no shit. I don’t think she has crashed yet, she needs good people around her.

Curious as to why you think he’s not? I would suggest you pull up some of his on line stuff. The guys awesome and Trump loves the hell out of him.

  9. God’s chose to replace Charlie at Turning Point is what should be the focus. Through Erika’s prayers in particular, this is sure to happen. A faithful and fearless Christian no doubt.

If Ben Shapiro wants to do what Charlie did, he should do it through his own organization. I don’t believe he’s actually a Christian. He would be a poor messenger of the Gospel and the Christian perspective on politics.

Totally, agree Erika’s priority should be raising Charlie’s children and bringing them up to be strong, faith-filled Christians.

  10. Ben Shapiro would love to get his hands on the empire Charlie built. Too many strikes against that, the first being that Shapiro has been given more than enough reason to accept that Jesus is the Jewish Messiah and he willfully ignores all the facts. He makes me tired on the subject, just as Jordan Peterson does. Second, he is combative in his defense of conservate values. He doesn’t have the Jesus-directed heart/mind that Charlie has because he thinks in terms of winners and losers in his debates. He doesn’t have the natural compassion for the humanity of his detractors and uses his verbal skills stridently rather than to seek a bridge of understanding.

  11. Women and men are strong in different ways, and in death is one place that the strength of a woman can be truly amazing.

When a woman loses a man, she may mourn and may cry, but a woman also has the ability to recognize that life doesn’t wait. There are her children to tend to who are also grieving, there are things that need done NOW about her home, her finances, the disposition of her husband; and yet in all this she still feels obligated to be nice to people, to stand in a receiving line shaking hands and giving hugs to mourners as though THEY need reassurance more than HER, and still keeping it together and smiling through her tears even when just listening to the 1000th person say “I’m sorry about your loss” is enough to make her want to SCREAM.

The strength of a woman in such straights can be boundless, and in a woman of Christ, she has HIM to lean on.

But she still hurts. And she still goes on

…add to this in Erika Kirk’s case the need to continue on with her husband’s work, to steward his legacy, to fend off those who would instantly try to trade on his name and turn what he has built to their own selfish ends, to do dishonorable things in his name that would threaten not only his memory but the very safety of herself and her children…it is amazing and supernatural that this woman has not only the desire but even the ability to step up and do what MUST be done NOW, to beat off the carrion birds and the ground scavengers that would rend the work and the lives they built together into a foul feast for themselves as they hope to reduce his body into little more than the shit of rats.

An amazing woman with the power of the Lord behind her is needed to do this, and this is just such a woman. Nothing could have prepared her for this but the Lord.

Many of you may remember the assassination of Benigo Aquino in the Philippines many years ago. With no preparation, no preamble, no political experience of her own, his wife Corazon mourned his passing but also picked up his banner and took it into the face of his enemy, and against all odds wrested the country her husband’s assassin had stolen from him and took his place as its leader. It wasn’t easy and it was made doubly difficult to do it peacefully, but she found a way and saved her country.

Now we have another woman who is faced with the political assassination of her husband in the face of a Godless enemy who would destroy everything about her country for their own selfish needs in the service of their master in hell. Thrust into the spotlight, forced to step into his shoes, unable to mourn or comfort her children without the searing heat of public opinion magnifying and attempting to interpret every tear through their own warped lens, she somehow manages to keep grace in her every action and control her righteous anger so even the foulest of her enemies have nothing to turn against her to destroy her and her children with.

    It must be from God.

…I don’t know what is the right thing for her to do. I can’t tell if leading his movement is something she wants to do, or if it even makes sense in the light that perhaps the casting of pearls before swine is ultimately pointless, that the time for talk is past, that maybe the time for retribution is at hand. I don’t know this woman’s heart, but I can see her strength. Many in her place would be calling for blood, and yet she does not. But whatever choice she makes, I pray that the Lord is in it and that He perhaps can use to yet turn more back to Him even in this 11th hour.

But if she chooses to yet try to lead the strays back to the Lord, I believe it would be meet for us to respect her patience and to support her choice.

But for now, the best we can do for her is pray. Pray for her. Pray for her family.

And pray for ourselves. We are at a crossroads and only the Lord can choose the correct path for us.

Dear Lord, we come before You today in sorrow and in anger over the loss to this world of a Man of God whose died for the reason of attempt to bring Your Word to the lost, as so many of Your martyrs have before him. Lord, we do not like to have this anger in our hearts and pray that You forgive us this, and though you do not have to hear us in this state that You show mercy to this woman and her family in their hour of need, send Your Comforter to counsel them, fill them with the Blessed Assurance that this man they loved as a husband and as a father yet continues at Your side, and that they may join him in their time if only they turn to You in this trial of faith. Uplift them Lord, touch them, heal their hearts and protect them from those who would harm both their bodies and their souls, and help them use this trial to bring them closer to You.

And Lord, help this woman Erika Krik, touch Her with the wisdom You have given to Your prophets before. Lead her in the direction You would have her go, give her Your Words to speak as she stewards her husband’s legacy, keep foul counselors on this earth far from her, and let her make this movement towards You worthy of You and a fitting testament to both her husband’s and her own service to You, a beacon of hope in the roiling seas of our times.

And dear Lord, help US too, to understand Your ways to have have patience yet with Your creations when and as You see fit. We know that You counsel us to trust in Your Judgement, to avenge Your servants, to turn to You to fight the battles, and that You want ALL your creations to have a chance to turn to You before the end, but it is a hard test Lord, when we feel we stand on the field before Philistines that would take all we have and all we would ever have from us and our children, and laugh as they take the lives of our dearest from right in front of our faces when they are doing nothing but serving You. Help us to understand this Lord and help us to see the wrath You have in store for them, and counsel us if we are to be instruments of that wrath as we would very willingly serve to do so, if that be Your Will. Lord, help us and protect us and lead us in the way You would have us go, in the righteous name of Jesus we pray, amen.

    God Bless,

  12. Charlie Kirk was at his own turning point where Israel is concerned, though it hadn’t bubbled to the surface in a big way at the time of his murder. But privately, he was angry and frightened by the threats and intimidation coming from his big Jewish donors. He died before he could officially go off the reservation, but he was on that path. It’s almost as if Ben Shapiro is a front for somebody who is trying to steer Turning Point back into acceptable discourse. Hard pass on this guy.

  13. SNS, that was beautiful.

The one point that I pray the God protects her from is: “keep foul counselors on this earth far from her”.

We know that there is a line of people who want to take what God created through Charlie and make it their own, even if they say they are doing it in his name. I pray that God has already chosen someone, or a group of people, to carry on with the message he placed on Charlie’s heart.

  14. Israel is already honoring Charlie, naming streets and painting murals, we need to do likewise.

As for who can take his place………….nobody can, but we need all those folks mentioned in the above comments to step up, get loud, and look at this as a mission. The message will not die.

  15. Ben Shapiro makes me sick just listening to his voice. As a Christian I support Jews, but I don’t really take any advice from them. The truth is they deny my Savior, although they’re God’s chosen people.
Charlie led young people to Christ, without Christ he would not have been able to do what he did, because he was led by Christ. Ultimately Christ is what changed these young people and Charlie always gave the glory to him and he led more people than I realized to Christ.

I don’t know the person Brad’s talking about, I don’t really know who is in the wings at TPUSA, what I do know is whatever man takes his reigns it should be someone Christ puts in that position.
If Shapiro wants to talk to college students, he should go talk to Jewish college students, because many American Jews are leftist idiots and many don’t even follow their own laws.

As for Erika it broke my heart and it broke my heart the people who are saying she’s acting because her husband isn’t dead and his hands weren’t real hands in the casket. Have people never seen embalmed people in caskets that have makeup on them to try and make them look like they have color?
