  1. Hey you guys, enough with the so-called “humorous” comments. Give ms Moran some respect in passing away. God bless you Ms. Moran for your role on Happy Days. R.I.P.. 🙁

That’s what killed her. I know a couple ex NFL semi stars that have settled in our community. One of the owned a gym that I was working out at. Others I met at said gym. They were all living in the past. Couldn’t adjust to the lack of fan fair. Except for one Big Ass black guy that use to play for the Vikings back in the day. He had a dream and that dream was a smoke house restaurant. A passion. Last I heard he was doing pretty good.

I had my battle with those ass holes. They use to to a Thankgiving “Flag” foot ball game every year. Them against anybody that was stupid enough to get on the field with them. I was the big fish in the little pond, the pressure to join their little game was, well actually weak. That gym had a wrestling mat. So I told the couple big mouths “Let’s wrestle 3 two minute rounds”. If any of you survive I play flag football. No takers. You would recognize a few names.

  4. Damn. Still young. One by one the 20th century is fading into the past. If that doesn’t bring your own mortality into focus, what will?

May you rest in peace, Erin. Thank you for everything you gave to this world.

By the words of her co-stars, it appears she struggled with finding peace here. I didn’t follow her life, so I can only hope she embraced Jesus before she passed.

  5. Absolve, we beseech Thee, O Lord,
    the soul of Thy servant,
    from every bond of sin,
that being raised in the glory of the resurrection,
she may be refreshed among the Saints and Elect.
    Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

  6. Love you, PJ. I hope your weekend is good for you. Thank you for who you are in this world. It is better because you care.

Life is too short to not acknowledge the difference makers like you.

  7. Speaking of playing football. When I was 22-23, working in Alaska and making pretty good money for my age, we went down to the Park Strip in Anchorage. There were 4-5 of us, all the same age. Anyway a group of kids that were a bit younger, maybe even high school age talked us into playing a game of football. Maybe 5 minutes into the game some young little prick that probably didn’t even have a job threw himself into my knee from the side, and I went down in a heap. I missed about 3 months of work because of that, last time I played any football.

  8. In the 70’s we didn’t watch TV until the streetlights
came on. Never watched any of it. Hated every TV sitcom
outside of Archie Bunker as we couldn’t relate to any
    of the “big city” shat.
56 is too young, and I’m not far from it. I hope she finds
    the peace she needs.

  9. This is really terrible, died at such a young age… I do remember reading about her having some substance abuse problems in the past, but I don’t believe that she’s been in that sort of ‘trouble’ for quite some time now… so how exactly did she die? AND WHERE? The article is so very vague. /tin foil hat activated/
