Evacuated Pasadena Resident Goes Nuclear on Failed Democrat Policies, Gavin Newsom and Karen Bass

An evacuated Pasadena resident went absolutely nuclear on Gavin Newsom, Karen Bass and Democrat policies that led to the most destructive fire in history.

Pacific Palisades looks like a Martian wasteland after fires ravaged the city.

Firetrucks are using residential hoses to fill up their water tanks after hydrants run dry.

Several people have died, tens of thousands of acres have burned, more than 3,000 structures, including homes, have been reduced to ashes thanks to Governor Newsom’s refusal to build reservoirs.

  1. “Firetrucks are using residential hoses to fill up their water tanks after hydrants run dry.”

…you are filling a device that normally fills from a 5″ hose with a 1/2″ hose. When full, that device will discharge from 1 3/4″, 2 1/2″, up to large bore deck guns with that can disgorge 750-2000 Gallons Per Minute.

A 1/2″ residential hose is capable of 0.01 GPM.

    A noble effort.

But the math simply does not support it…

  2. @SNS — Your point, as always, is spot on. But there’s something off with your stats/math. A flow rate of 0.01 GPM means it would take an hour and forty minutes to fill a gallon jug, yes? Or have I misinterpreted something?

  3. Thats off the plumbing chart, its actually a bit higher and there are larger diameter mains in some homes. They also stipulate the volume is 1 ft/min, which I missed. The perils of lazy research.

…so scrapping that, I found this residential water company that says it can vary, but most household output is 3-4 GPM.

…So to optimistically fill a typical 1,000 gallon pumper tank, 1000/4=250 minutes per pumper, or 4+ hours for 1 minute of monitor operation.

Assuming the pressure hasnt dropped, of course.

…see, this is why I always say you cant fight a fire with a garden hose…

  4. The first thing to do is not concede good intentions to the dirty sonsabitches. If you don’t do that, you are starting ten laps back and are never going to be in any position to affect change.

  5. “Knumbskull” Newsome California’s drive by Governor has done an excellent job of avoiding any decision of any consequence, anywhere in the state, except wasting taxpayer money.

  6. getting difficult to hear the same old story about the newsom fires. our next candidate for governor should run on fire suppression and affordable homeowners fire insurance. these government and fire officials keep parroting ” i have never seen anything like it” reminder . . . this is not new. camp fire..86 dead, bear fire. . . the list goes on and on. some of the displaced camp fire still have not been paid in the pge settlement. its simply transfer of wealth from citizens to government and their cronies. i would sure like to see the number of people who have lost their homes during the newsom dictatorship.

  7. SNS – Liberal Logic would mandate necked-down pip for a slow fill rate on Electric pumper tank trucks.
After all, it doesn’t make any sense to have a water fill rate faster than the re-charge rate!

Or…. Liberal Logic would say: don’t fill pumper truck with water before traveling to the site so you can get more battery time. Just fill it when you get there.

Well slap my forehead and say: “I coulda hada V8”
