U.S. Sen. Markwayne Mullin is not backing down from his view that there is “precedence” for caning someone in the Senate and sometimes it becomes necessary for someone to get “punched” in the face.
The Oklahoma Republican offered no apologies for calling out Teamsters President Sean O’Brien at a Senate Health Committee hearing on Tuesday in what nearly amounted to an all-out fight amid escalating tensions.
After reading tweets from O’Brien including one in which he said he would fight Mullin, a former mixed martial arts fighter, things got decidedly heated.
“Any place, any time, cowboy,” O’Brien’s tweet stated, as Mullin read it in the hearing.
“Sir, this is a time. This is a place. You want to run your mouth: We can be two consenting adults. We can finish it here,” the GOP lawmaker said. more here

I was driving on the State highway and came up behind a guy going 25mph. I was driving a 2003 F150 SCREW Lariat and he a Ford Fusion that he had taken the side view mirrors off to reduce drag. I went around him and then exited at an outfit called Costco that sells just about most stuff also has a fuel station and pulled into the gas line. Next thing I heard a beep beep and looked over and this Goddamn pencilneck started to lecture me on wasting gas. Gas that I had paid for. I told him to mind his own fucking business and to fuck off. The son of a bitch kept running his mouth and I got out to go over and teach him a lesson in tending to his own knitting. Then he sped off and sat about a hundred yards away until I got back in my outfit. Then the mouthy little fucker came back and started running his pie hole again. My ex-wife was sitting in the passenger seat unbuckled and leaned over me and told him: If my husband gets his hands on you I’m not going to do jack shit to save your ass.
He was still popping off and another guy walked up on the driver’s side and reached in and latched onto him by the hair and I was getting out to come over and give him the opportunity to show me he was everything he had been advertising himself as when he put the peddle to the metal and took off minus a fist full of pony tail.
When I was a kid growing up in Montana you didn’t go around threatening people. These days it seems to be a national passtime.

I been saying for years that if some people got punched in the mouth more often that we wouldn’t be in the state we’re in.
Two things- it is my understanding that U.S. Sen. Markwayne Mullin was an undefeated MMA fighter. Secondly, in a televised interview later in the day, he stated that when he stood up, the fear in O’Brien’s eyes was delightful.

He fought 3 fights. Twice against the same opponent. If you have fought for money, a purse, before and get into a scuffle out side the ring be prepared to lose everything you have in the upcoming civil law suit. It’s happened to two of my friends over the course of about thirty years.
Not saying I wouldn’t like to see Mr Teamsters face packed but outside a ring probably is not good for his bank account and there’s no way fat boys getting in the ring with him. I’m thinking he accomplished what he was trying to. But I feel his pain occasionally.
@Brad-I also read that he was inducted in 2016 to the Oklahoma wrestling hall of fame. I’d also like to see him take on Bernie.
