NJ.com: Michele Tafoya is free to speak her mind. And the former Sunday Night Football sideline reporter for NBC Sports is doing just that.
Tafoya appeared Wednesday on FOX News’ “Tucker Carlson Tonight” to talk about her transition from football to politics. The Athletic reports Tafoya “will be the co-chair of a political campaign for businessman and Army veteran Kendall Qualls, who announced in January that he is running as a Republican candidate for governor in Minnesota.” And based on what she told Carlson, Tafoya is taking a stand for what she believes.
According to FOX News, part of Tafoya’s platform includes being a “voice against CRT (critical race theory) and other radically progressive policies.” read more
Good for Her.
Whoopie Goldberg,
Angry because she couldn’t get laid in a Jail full of Lifers.
I listened to the entire interview on Megyn’s show the other day. ESPN gets the most ink for being hostile to anyone (with a brain) that does not spout the narrative on command, but I’m sure NBC and Fox Sports are just as rigid and close-minded.
I hope this is a stepping stone to a higher calling. She is wealthy enough that she can dictate her own terms and not worry about a paycheck.
She might be able to affect better change with a Podcast where she can interview Conservative Sports athletes & people who are like minded.
It was not easy being one of the early Female Sports personas.
She was very good on Gutfeld the other night.
She looks good. Better then her football segments.
Tafoya is popular and respected. I hope that she’s enough a factor to bring about the defeat of the Democrat governor (Walz) who watched for several days and nights as the city of Minneapolis burned, police were assaulted, and looters hauled away flat-screen TVs and liquor, albeit “mostly Peaceful”.
I was reminded of my tendency to stereotype. I had assumed because she worked sidelines for a network she would be hard left.
