Legal Insurrection: One of my biggest complaints over the past 15 years of advocacy for the application of real science to climate data analysis has been the wimpy response by our energy industry.
Our fossil fuel companies tried to find a compromise position with eco-activists, which was a fruitless and costly endeavor. Meanwhile, climate cultists in California enacted two laws (Senate Bill 253 and Senate Bill 261) that require these corporations to publicly report comprehensive greenhouse gas emissions and detail climate-related financial risks, extending to not only direct emissions but also those from supply chains and product use.
As a result, while most of the nation is enjoying gasoline around $3.00/gallon, Californians are paying $4.54…which is likely to go higher as refineries in this state close. more

Brad, this is very true. Not only is Prop 50 unconstitutional as they wrote it and passed it, I read that it is going to be fought as the election process for it was fixed. Don’t know if that will go anywhere, but it’s not settled yet!

When that idiot first started mentioning redistricting all kinds of lawyer types on X were saying this will never hold up in court. Newsom and the Democrats in California are one giant clown show. Did you hear how Calpers, the agency that invests state employee retirement fund, just lost 75% of it investing almost all the funds in a new Green Energy start up? When ask to disclose exactly where the money went their reply was, we can’t. That’s a trade secret. WHAT!!!!
Newsom is also being sued by the resident that were effected by the fire. I think this King is about ready to be booted off his throne. What a loser. And mean while his wife gets in front of a mic last night for a victory lap and spend her time trashing Trump. $2.43 / gallon today in rural GA. And a dozen eggs for $1.98.
california cannot lower the price of gasoline. if they did, residents would figure out in short order that it is cheaper to generate electricity than buy from the grid. many large california business’s who use lots of electricity have already made the swap to self generation. interesting they get a break on fuel (natural gas). reminds me of the drought, when its was cheaper to buy 5 gallons of water at walmart. opening the tap at home was just too costly.
