Facebook only survives because people use them including the groups of people they target. Until their behavior affects their revenue stream they have no reason to change. Their users are their revenue.

Generally, when a private party acts on behalf of the state, that private party is considered part of the state. I.E. the police can’t ask you to get someone to disclose the location of evidence that would implicate that person of a crime without you having to give that person his Miranda rights because you, acting on behest of the police, are considered an “agent of the government.”
I do not see why that principle would not apply here. Therefore, this is an abridgement of First Amendment rights.
Like I said previously; just wait until the internet is shut down.
