WaEx: Nathan Pyle is the author and artist responsible for the “Strange Planet” series. His comics have gone viral over the past few months for depicting aliens doing normal human activities but describing them in a way that makes you wonder why we Homo sapiens are so odd.
“Strange Planet” has more than a million followers on Instagram, so of course someone had to decide Pyle’s wit and popularity were too good to be true and go searching through his Twitter history for something incriminating. His Twitter bio also says, “I follow Jesus,” which means you know there will be some juicy heresy.
In the age of outrage, it’s not hard to be problematic. And a vaguely pro-life tweet must have been just what the strife-seeker was looking for. On Monday, a Twitter user shared a 2017 tweet from Pyle in which he expresses gratefulness for the life of his girlfriend at the time. more
The left is the Borg.
All thought must abide by hive mind rules. No individuality allowed. There will be penalties for daring to believe, think or reason as a unique individual. Assimilation into the collective will be mandatory.
Right on, Beachmom. The hive mentality. That’s it!
If you’re not ‘pro-life’, you are ‘pro-death’.
The hive mentality is actually un-American, as it gives value to mobs, not individuals and free thinking. It also supports socialism all kinds of other evils.
Just went to his site. I love his cartoons. Good stuff.
I once collected built up model kits from the ’60s and ’70s. After almost 50 years, the styrene cement would indetectably weaken at the joints wherever it wasn’t applied heavily enough to weld the plastic, and the kits would eventually fall apart just standing on a shelf, from gravity alone.
When society reaches the point where women and men make themselves as physically attractive as they can afford yet have NO intention of ever marrying and procreating, and when mobs can try to punish otherwise inoffensive people for simple thinking wrongly, you’re no longer living in a society. You’re living in the fragmented remains of one with gravity pulling ever harder on the loose pieces. It’s living at ground zero of a nuke test site with a unknown number of seconds left on the countdown.
The simple reality is that those on the right don’t have time to do opposition research on random people, we are too busy enjoying our lives.
If these Dumb Bastards are so disenchanted with Life, then allow
me to borrow a page from Bad Brad: Gun, Mouth, Do It.
Stop bothering us with your sick, twisted misery!
I don’t believe we are equally divided on the issue. I believe there are way more pro-lifers, and the pro-aborts are the squeaky wheel that gets all the attention. Many pro-lifers are unfortunately afraid to speak up.
It isn’t easy being on God’s side, and it certainly won’t make you popular when people realize you are.
@grool: You obviously must have used the worthless glue that had the toluene removed in the 1960’s because of the glue-sniffers. If you had had access to the 1950’s version of Testors plastic cement, your models would still be together today.
The irony is that after they ruined airplane glue with that move, the sniffers just switched to spray paint to get high. Or lacquer thinner, which has TONS more toluene than glue ever did. Or did, last time I checked.
TRF– ooh be careful with that. I once told a miserable name-caller of a person (who was a miserable person, insulting the readers here) that they should kill themselves (instead of advocating the killing of babies) and that person, and another one, called me mean and quit.
Kinda ironic, no?

With fans like that who needs enemies?
