The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is proposing a ban on all characterizing flavors in cigars in what they say is an attempt to reduce younger smokers from trying tobacco, but others say adults should have the freedom of choice.

According to an FDA press release, the proposed ban on “all characterizing flavors (other than tobacco) in cigars” would attempt to reduce “youth experimentation and addiction.”

“The proposed rules would help prevent children from becoming the next generation of smokers and help adult smokers quit,” Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra said.

Critics of the proposed ban say individuals should have the freedom to decide what they can and cannot buy, not the government. more

  1. The Constitution is silent on the subject of cigars – therefore cigars are beyond the scope of government. The 10th applies in every case where the Constitution is silent.

The law is what we SAY it is, at any given time and in any given situation.

If you don’t like it we’ll have the FBI ruin your life, plant kiddy porn on your hard drive, arrest you for seditious comments, and put you in January 6th prison forever, after which we will doxx the location of your house and family to our brownshirts and assure them that all guns have been forcibly removed.

Don’t tell US what the law is.

    We ARE the law.

And have the guns to back it up.

  3. If you forget about the costs, health risks, the way it makes your breath, hair clothes, car, house, skin smell and the risk of fire, smoking is pretty cool.

  4. There goes the Swisher Sweets market, and all the homies who buy them to stuff full of weed. Wasn’t that what “gentle giant” Michael Brown stole before he tried to take Officer Darren Wilson’s gun and got ventilated for it?

  5. Cuz we see so many teenagers walking down the street smoking cigars. Especially flavored cigars.

They really expect to be take seriously?
    smh

If they only knew. When you see a young person with a cigar, they’ve probably made a blunt out of it.

  6. I know they’re not for everyone but I enjoyed cigar smoking for 30 years, mostly Cubans. The tobacco in some of those cigars were heavenly tasting. I can’t imagine a flavored cigar, sounds yucko but why does the government think they have a right to ban them?

It’s never going to stop until we stop it. And when an election is stolen in your face and nothing happens…you get the mundane like this as well.

  7. They are going to ban menthol cigarettes too and guess who smokes the majority of menthols? The FDA is just an arm of the DNC like every other alphabet agency and people are sick of them all sticking their noses in our lives.

  8. If it gives pleasure to some people, the bastards will find a way to tax it, limit it, or take it away.
Should be another states rights issue, like weed & abortion.
