Anger builds: As in locales elsewhere around the world, the locals in Barcelona say tourists have overrun their city and driven the cost of living sky-high, per CNN. The tourists bring in money, but ordinary Barcelonians say they’re not seeing a fair share of it. The city has moved to restrict tourist housing by 2028, but it’s apparently not fast enough for some. more
Who’s your real problem, Spaniards? Maybe the Spanish man is getting humiliated at work by his muslim boss, so he goes home to beat his Spanish wife, and on the way, he kicks the tourist dog.
Instead of being pissed off at people that contribute to the economy of your city, focus more on those that come and stay to ruin it.
But we are racist for trying to keep illegals out of our country…
I remember when the new baseball stadium was built in Seattle. There had been a vote to have a property tax increase to pay for it, but it failed. Instead, they increased the sales tax on restaurant meals in King County. “But the stadium will bring in people from out of the county and that will bring in a lot of tax revenue.” If it brings in so much tax revenue, then why did they need to raise the tax rate?
Side note: people were upset when the state legislature got involved and found another way to pay for the new stadium. People thought they voted “no” on the stadium. In reality, the vote was how to pay for the stadium, not whether to build it or not. Keep that in mind should you have a similar measure on your ballot.

From a U.S. position, there are a lot of beautiful sites in our own country that we should visit first. Most Americans are rude and indifferent to the cultural styles of foreign countries. Back in the 1990’s I went to Germany with a large number of people from work. At a nice Restaurant, one guy let out a belch so loud you could hear it clear out in the street. Talk about a humiliating experience. They were asked to leave because they did not tolerate such rudeness. Fortunately I was not in that group.
Maybe the Spaniards should fill their squirt guns with pig urine and liquid pig shit and turn it on the muzzies instead of the tourists.
Hmmmm, while not supporting this behavior, I kind of understand it after trying to navigate around bus loads of Chinese tourists in Yellowstone.

Barcelona has never been a tourist friendly city. Everywhere I visited in Spain the locals were friendly and inviting, except Barcelona.
That’s not smart. Turn your anger at the illegals invading your country arriving on boats from the Mediterranean Sea.
Turning away tourists will cause you to lose revenue and that would lead to less jobs, economy going bad.
