I’d like to direct the regulators’ attention to the high degree of energy conservation inherent in the gallows and the guillotine. Both require only a modest use of energy to build, and subsequently the operation of both can be continued indefinitely using only human muscle power.

^ I like this approach to energy conservation. I believe it’s also possible to have local demonstrations of these techniques on short order to aid in policy making! Our local, regional, state and federal officials should investigate this further!
