Federal Judge Dismisses Governor Newsom’s Lawsuit Over President Trump’s Tariffs

GP:
A federal judge completely dismissed California Democrat Governor Gavin Newsom’s lawsuit over President Trump’s tariffs.

US District Judge for the Northern District of California, Jacqueline Scott Corley, a Biden appointee, dismissed the case citing a jurisdiction issue.

Rather than punting the case to the US Court of International Trade like another federal judge did last week, Judge Corley completely dismissed the case and allowed California to file an appeal.

California’s far-left Attorney General Rob Bonta has already filed an appeal to the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. more

  1. At some point there needs to be consequences, repercussions and stiff penalties paid by parties bringing frivolous political law suits AKA lawfare! I don’t think that is an unreasonable ask by any stretch!

  2. The states in debt up to it’s eyeball, he had to petition the fund for this law suit, and the idiots file in the wrong jurisdiction? When that moron Rob Bonta was first elected he was challenged because he’d never tried or filed a law suit. But they approved his election anyway. What a joke.
