  1. They didn’t present themselves for “permission” when comming here, have operated outside the law since arrival, and are currently subject to deportation. How does this “order” change things? Does it put the catch-and-release crowd on notice? Does it set up the federal government to withhold funds from states that do not comply/account for housing/food/medical benefits?

  2. I don’t think the DHS wants them to register. They want them to NOT register so they’ll become lawbreakers (over and above breaking the law by sneaking in) and thus almost instantly deportable for a reason already settled.

  3. At first glance, this makes as much sense as asking the squatters in your house to sign the guest book, making it alright if they use your beds.

    So, thank you, Uncle Al.

I still don’t like that illegal aliens are afforded any rights at all — even to “register”. We can thank biden for granting them these rights.

  4. For those illegal aliens who DO want to register, they should be required to do it in person at a DHS office. They go in the front door, register, put in handcuffs and leg irons, led out the back door, put on a bus, driven to the airport, chained together, put on a military cargo plane, and flown far, far away.

Far. Did I say far? Far.

Elon would like this: DOGE-level efficiency!
