TMZ: Senator Dianne Feinstein was at the hospital, TMZ has learned, after tripping and falling Tuesday in her home city of San Francisco.
We do not know how serious her injuries are … only that she was taken to a nearby hospital. We told she returned home Tuesday night. The 90-year-old Senator has struggled with health issues over the last year. She was absent from the Senate for nearly 3 months earlier this year dealing with shingles, Ramsay Hunt syndrome and encephalitis. more

Usually when an old person trips and falls and has to go to the hospital they never leave the hospital…. alive.
Seems to me in this age of electronics voters should be able to vote for themselves and not need iffy politicians coin toss voting representatives. Just login using your secure ID and password and vote on spending items and laws. Yup that would be great.

The Senate, House and Oval Office are all nursing homes at this point.
They all vote in lockstep anyway, and they have enough RINOS to fill in the gap, so what makes the diff if she’s in the senate or in hell, the result for us won’t change…

Ted Kennedy, John McCain just to name two recent senators (and from both sides of the aisle) were dying of cancer and yet didn’t resign. Did they think they couldn’t lie in state in the rotunda if they allowed their constituents to be represented by someone who wasn’t in stage 4 cancer?
But then again we have Joe and his dementia – so Di Fi must think why not?

…the first year is for committing the crimes to make yourself rich and powerful.
Every year after that you need to stay in power to keep the cover-up going.
They can’t quit if they WANT to.
It’s too risky if there not in a position to quash any investigation.
Anyone think she will make it to January 1?
Where’s the line? Is it age, cognitive function, infirmary a combination or some other factor that should be used to decide? Will it apply to all three branches of government?
There are some oldsters, like Chuck Grassley who have done good service for the country in his declining years. Donald Trump is no spring chicken at this point either. I’d hate to see the left have a means to take Clarence Thomas off the bench due to age or physicality.
The age issue is important and so is being physically able to perform one’s duties (looking at you Fetterman).
You know if the democrats had to give up Feinstein they’d replace her with a radical able to charm the masses of dem voters back in California to hang on to that senate seat for decades in the future. Feinstein may be the best option right now until an election can be held for that senate seat.
