WaEx: Democratic candidate for Senate in Pennsylvania John Fetterman dodged questions about whether he’d release his medical records for public review, reiterating previous claims that he is fit to serve a full term in the Senate despite suffering a stroke earlier this year.
During a highly anticipated debate between Fetterman and Republican opponent Dr. Mehmet Oz on Tuesday, the Democrat was pressed by moderators on whether he’d agree to release medical records related to his stroke. Several Republicans have pressured Fetterman to release the documents after he suffered a stroke in mid-May, which Oz’s campaign has frequently used as an attack to claim the Democrat is not fit to serve a six-year term in the Senate.
“My doctors believe I am ready to be served,” Fetterman said.
“Why won’t you release the records?” one of the moderators asked.
“My doctor believes I am fit to be serving, and I believe that is where I am standing,” Fetterman replied. more
Is Fetterman moonlighting as Joey’s speechwriter? Sheesh!
Hello and goodnight!😅🤣😂
I’m just surprised that he didn’t come out with a lawnmower blade in his hand and start talking about “them french fried pertaters!”
Did his doctors also advise him to get the jab? And was that just before he got the stroke?
I have about as much faith in doctors as I do in politicians anymore. I don’t need to see his medical records; I watched his debate performance.
Speech impediment or not, he has the mind of a child!
I think Fetterman’s performance last night almost guarantees he will get a job on Mourning Joe to add his voice to MSNBC’s stellar lineup of Losers and Lunatics.
“Gimme some o’ dat potted meat?”
The proof is in the pudding, which is about the condition of his brain right now.
I think, once he said: “I’m fit to be served”.
Not by the hair on his chinny chin chin!
