Years ago, when Hurricane Rita devastated our area, I managed to ride my dirt bike to the plant where I work to check on things. On the way home, law enforcement set up a roadblock and refused to allow me to get back home. My wife was there alone with no power or water and she didn’t speak English at the time. I tried to talk sense to those goofy bastards but they said they had their orders. I screamed a hearty FU to them and took off across the ditch and through the open field all the way to the next road over. I made it home just fine.

The appearance of incompetence is often used as a mask for cold blooded murder. Someone ordered those cops to block the road. Someone ordered the kids to be sent home from school. Someone ordered the water to be cut off.
That combined with the fact that not one single politically connected lizard person lost a home there nor did anyone with a blue roof. We live in an age where “fringe conspiracy theories” seem to play out pretty well over time. And over time we’re gonna see Lahaina turned into a walled off ruling caste playground. And we’re gonna see a lot more other fires starting all at once in the exact way Directed Energy Weapons start fires.
We’re a country dedicated to developing advanced weapons technology; not effective military strategy; so that tech will be used against the “enemy” our ruling caste hates the most, i.e. middle class Americans deemed to be living “too well” for their lowly station in life.
