Hannity —Socialist Senator Bernier Sanders –who just this week unveiled a universal healthcare bill- admitted back in 1987 that a single-payer plan would carry an “astronomical” cost and would likely “bankrupt the nation.”
Sanders was speaking with a local Vermont television station when he made the surprising admission, saying that adopting a Canadian healthcare model in the United States would be far too expensive. WATCH
“a single-payer plan would carry an “astronomical” cost and would likely “bankrupt the nation.”
The US is bankrupt.
Cloward and Piven’s overload the government road map is alive and thriving in the progressive/socialist/democrat short and long term goals.
Sanders is such a crackpot! But I’m even more shocked by the people who give him their serious attention. Why anyone would take advice from an old hippie who camped out on friends’ sofas is well beyond me.
If a single-payer plan doesn’t work for small, wealthy Western European countries, how could it possibly work for a country the size of America? This has been known by these Socialists for decades, but they keep promoting it, because it promises free health care for Plantation Dwellers.
The point of single payer IS to bankrupt a nation….ours!
Not necessarily a bad thing, from the socialist point of view.
Money is an artificial construct to oppress the “workers” (parasites).
If everything belongs to the State (which includes the inhabitants thereof, and their labor) then money is superfluous and work and reward are the sole privilege of that State.
The trick is to be the “leader” of said State.
(which is the aim of every would-be, and actual, tyrant)
This has gone on since Ur was established and we still haven’t learned the more obvious lessons.
Bernie spoke a truth out loud – which is verboten! – he should know better.
izlamo delenda est …
Maybe Sanders isn’t as dumb as he looks and sounds.
Everyone should try to protect the wealth this government is trying to take from you at gun point. You should be trading your federal reserve notes that are worthless and lose more value daily for something that has value and retains or adds to that value. Preferably untraceable and easy to stash items. Think about going to a coin shop monthly to scoop up some gold and silver, pay for it in cash, and use a fake name if they ask who you are.
Your 401(k) is at risk, social security is at risk, bank accounts are at risk, investment accounts are at risk, medical care is at risk — Do something for yourself that removes at least some of the risk you are currently involved in. Don’t think Dirty Bernie and his ilk aren’t coming after your traceable wealth.
Since only about half of us pay taxes, single payer would require each taxpayer to cover (on average) the total healthcare costs (not just insurance, ALL treatment) for two people. That’s a lot of money.
