On Feb. 29, U.S. Surgeon General Jerome Adams said in a tweet: “Seriously people—STOP BUYING MASKS! They are NOT effective” in preventing the spread of coronavirus.
At a conference at the World Health Organization in early April, meanwhile, Mike Ryan, the executive director of WHO’s Health Emergencies Program, said that there is “no specific evidence to suggest that the wearing of masks by the mass population has any particular benefit.””
“Lisa Brosseau and Margaret Sietsema are both experts on respiratory protection and infectious diseases who have taught at the University of Chicago (Brosseau is retired). On Apr. 1, they published a paper for the Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy in which they stated bluntly: “We do not recommend requiring the general public who do not have symptoms of COVID-19-like illness to routinely wear cloth or surgical masks.””
So my question is why is there seemingly not one republican congressman or any elected republican who is willing to stand up and call out the liberal fagtards over this mask issue?

This is how Republicans need to deal with the media–can of whoopass and call them out for the liars they are. The old gentlemans rules went out the window about 30 years ago. Pence were you paying any attention? Republicans need to fight not pretend were all one big happy huggy family bc we aint.

And that’s crystal clear. Before candidate and then President Trump started dealing with reporters, this sort of “back at you!” response from pols was virtually unheard of. I am delighted to see it happening more and more as the blatant bias of the noozies continues to fester and grow.
