KFI: A Florida mother was arrested after allegedly punching her ten-year-old son in the face because he wouldn’t stop playing Fortnite. 35-year-old Ann Perugia told her son to stop playing the game and take a shower, but after ten minutes, she found that he had not moved.
Perugia told him again to take a shower and the young boy got up and made his way to the bathroom. His mother became “irate” and followed him into the bathroom. She then punched him in the face so hard that she dislocated his jaw. more here

The most outrageous part of the story is that the boy is now with his aunt instead of his father because “the father does not have full custody” of the child. Which means that the mother is still directing the care and custody of the child and the father has no rights. 😡

Anonymous, I was struck by that, too. So the boy is with his aunt because his father does not have full custody. So the answer is to give partial custody to his aunt? How does that make any sense? If mom has partial custody and is abusing the child, dad should be immediately granted full custody. Anything else is crap.
