BPR: A Florida restaurant is honoring U.S. military veterans and saying goodbye to its NFL package due to players’ national anthem protests.
Curtis and Janet West, who co-own Beef O’Brady’s in Brooksville, decided to cancel the restaurant and bar’s DirecTV NFL package, because of the “disrespect”shown by the players. Story
Good for them. If I am ever in that area I will be sure to eat there.
I’m guessing male-ish cheerleaders was the last straw.
I hope Duffy’s Sports Bar is next. But Beef O’Brady’s is taking a big chance. Do the owners realize that the NFL is having gay cheerleaders this year?

Good on ’em! Maybe they can show some real man-type sports now, such as rodeo, rolleo, Scottish games, and traditional field events such as discus, hammer throw, javelin, shot put. And the occasional sumo wrestling extravaganza.
I’m gonna have to make up an excuse to get up there. I occasionally get up to Tampa and Brooksville is about 50 miles farther north. Far, but not TOO far!
