KTLA: Rock icon Rod Stewart and his son are facing simple battery charges after an altercation with a security guard during a private event in a children’s area at The Breakers hotel in Palm Beach on New Year’s Eve, according to court records.
Security guard Jessie Dixon told Palm Beach police officers that Stewart’s group was at the check-in table for a private party that they weren’t authorized to attend, a police report said.
Dixon said the group became loud and began causing a scene.

Way back in the late 70’s I took a date to one of his concerts.
(I hated the guy but she liked him. I don’t even remember her name anymore.) Anyway, That dick, Stewart, was and hour late for his own concert and he showed up drunk as a skunk. He mumbled three songs and walked off stage. Pay up mofo.
I wonder if the son with Stewart is the same son for whom he claims to have written the song “Forever Young”? Everyone knows that song was written by Bob Dylan years previously and Stewart claimed he wrote the song in one of his dreams. Yea, sure Rod. Nice family.
