Florida to Make Possession of More Than 2 Voter Ballots a Felony

MSN: Possessing more than two ballots in Florida will become a felony under a bill passed by state lawmakers Wednesday.

The offense was previously a misdemeanor in the state under a 2021 law. But the more serious classification in the new legislation will make it punishable with a fine of up to $50,000 and five years in prison, The Washington Post reported. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has indicated he will sign the bill into law.

The ballot felony is just one part of a bill that aims to reform certain elements of Florida elections. The legislation would also establish a first-of-its-kind elections police force for the U.S., which has raised concerns about its possible impact on voters, the Post reported.

In a November press release that announced his intention to propose the legislation, DeSantis said that the measures were aimed at bolstering “election integrity” in the state.

“I am excited that with this legislation, our state will be able to enforce election violations, combat voter fraud and make sure violators are held accountable,” he said in a statement. “If potential violators know they will be held accountable, they will be much less likely to engage in improper conduct in the first place.” more

  1. They need to discover who gives out the ballots, as well, and punish them with death.
Both the fraudsters and the facilitators of the fraudsters must suffer.

Vote Fraud is Treason. It undermines the entire process and the will of the electorate – that is – We, the People – the Sovereign. Pretty simple.

  2. “We’re going to convict people of a felony because they helped three instead of two elderly neighbors?” In a word, yes. Is this person the only one who is willing to help his neighbors? Can he make multiple trips with only two? What, can’t he afford the gas? Well, maybe not, but his party is the one that is behind the new records.

Now if we can get more states to adopt these kinds of laws.

  3. Personally, I think anyone caught mishandling ballots intentionally should have a hand chopped off. Everyone knows how much democrats fear anything that interferes with their chronic masturbation schedule.

…I WISH Democrats would spend their days pulling their cat puds. Unfortunately, they seem to prefer raping children, and when they can’t find any of THOSE in a hurry they go to the courts and to the legislatures and start fucking ME and YOU instead…

…and yes, it’s a form of rape to them to screw us metaphorically. Watch all the old Demos have orgasms whenever they do something new to screw America. Power is sex to them, they rape children for the same reason they rape us, because they get their REAL jollies out of ramming something into someone who can’t fight back and can be held for them if necessary…

  5. If an elderly person has got a ballot in Florida it’s because it was mailed out. Included is what is required to mail it back. I know this because I live in FL. I have changed my wife and I to a mailed ballot to voting in person. We’re able to get around no problem and can stand in a line should that be necessary. I feel that there is more of a guarantee of our vote being counted if we vote in person. But there’s a myriad of ways to game the system so…

Lefties evidently would like us to think that a mailed ballot can only be returned in person. It’s yet another example of the lies they tell to further their agenda.

  6. I like that!
    But only if it’s enforced.
    Otherwise it’s just another do-nothing feel-good law.

  7. It’s essentially feel-good legislation. The dem strongholds in FL are not going to have anyone that’s going to “snitch”. In fact, they’ll probably just double up their efforts and have a partner blocking camera views while their accomplice stuffs the “secure ballot intake stations” that were formally known as ballot drop boxes.

The name change has got that ‘1984’ feel to it.

    Color me skeptical.
