For All Our Brothers And Sisters – IOTW Report

For All Our Brothers And Sisters

Let us pray
For all our brothers and sisters
Who share our faith in Jesus Christ,
That God may gather and keep together in one church
All those who seek the truth with sincerity.

Almighty and eternal God,
You keep together those you have united.
Look kindly on all who follow Jesus your Son.
We are all consecrated to you by our common baptism.
Make us one in the fullness of faith,
And keep us one in the fellowship of love.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen.

  1. Amen.

Go find a Sunrise Service to attend this Sunday. We’ve enjoyed one in particular on a beautiful NC beach for the past 10 years; scheduled again this year. We’re really looking forward to it. Find yours. It’s worth it.

  2. May YHWH shine the light of His countenance upon you and those whom you love.

BTW, best that I can determine, He was raised during (most likely at the end of) the Sabbath, not Sunday. As with other Feasts of YHWH, he has fulfilled this glorious gift of YHWH!

    Shalom Aleichem.

  3. Amen! I will be attending an Easter Vigil Service with the lighting of the New Fire and procession into a darkened church, where the new light will kindle small tapers held by worshipers until the church is filled with light to welcome the Risen Lord.
Sunrise services are amazing, as is this Saturday late night service. Try one some year.
    Blessings to all.

  4. The real Messiah it was supposed to be ground three days and three nights.
There are not three days and three nights between Friday afternoon and Sunday morning. Could this be the unmistakable error that undoes papal infallibility?

  5. Why anyone, especially our omniscient GOD, would go through any part of this day for ME is unimaginable. This is in fact, the Greatest Story Ever Told. I know that my “good deeds” (few and far between) are but filthy rags and had GOD not intervened for me, my soul would be lost for eternity. My heart breaks whenever I remember this day (not just on Good Friday), but it soars in thankfulness at the same time.
Thank you Jesus and please have mercy on my miserable soul.
