This elaborates on an article that was posted on this site earlier today.
I just wanted to post about it again, for a second chance to rub Avenatti’s and NBC’s faces in their own doody.
DC: NBC News published a bombshell report Thursday that undercut claims made by Michael Avenatti and his client, Julie Swetnick, regarding Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.
The company is coming under fire in the wake of the report because the series of events its Thursday report described occurred three weeks ago, before the Senate voted on whether to confirm Kavanaugh. The conservative jurist was confirmed by a narrow 50-48 margin on Oct. 6.
NBC revealed that a woman who Avenatti claimed would support Swetnick’s allegations of sexual misconduct against Kavanaugh in the early 1980s had retracted her statement. The woman also told NBC that Avenatti, a potential 2020 presidential candidate, had “twisted” her words. read more
That isn’t News if it was held, so NBC is not in the News business anymore and should be Sued for False representation of the highest order.
They actually reversed or used the News cycle to Help a Political Party.

Yesterday we learned that Julie Swetnick and Michael Avenatti were referred by Chuck Grassley for criminal investigation for providing false statements, obstructing congressional investigations, and conspiracy.
It isn’t much of a stretch to include NBC in the obstructing charge, and maybe the conspiracy charge.
