Former CNN anchor Lynne Russell and former reporter Chuck de Caro came back into the news cycle on June 30, after they worked together to use a concealed firearm to defend themselves from a robber. Russell later spoke about how having a gun “absolutely” saved their lives, and had some tough words for those who do not own guns, yet advocate for government control.
“If you don’t want to carry, please don’t.” Russell said. “Then, shut the f–k up about it. Make your own decisions.“
Russell went on to say that “the discussion over the debate to own a gun is just ridiculous. As Americans we have the right to bear arms and as humans the right to protect ourselves. I’m sure that the man who shot my husband did not have a gun permit.”
Why does it take the thought of facing death for these libtards to WAKE UP?!
My sister lives in Chicago and refuses to have a weapon. Her rationale? The police will do their job and protect them.

I think that’s the reason Russell and de Caro are former CNN people. Notice that they were already armed, traveling cross country. I suspect these are long-held sentiments that she just expressed when their fellow media types started to show their liberal disapproval.

I went camping over the weekend. On the 4th some bitch whacked out on krocodile or something put the whole campground on alert. I went to my vehicle loaded up and kept vigilent. After she was carted off I debriefed with some other campers, 2 of which also got ready.

She was there from the early 80’s through 2001 or so. Got out before CNN went completely radical Left. Anchored “Headline News”. Russell was the ONLY reason I ever watched ANYTHING on CNN. Total babe, even now at age 68. Still has a balcony you could do Shakespeare from! To top it off, she was a deputy sheriff in the county Atlanta is in for years, and is STILL a licensed private detective. Probably has a load of handgun training. Had she gotten to her gun she probably would have made Swiss cheese out of the asshole that attacked her and her hubby.
