Breitbart: David Goldstein of McClatchy reports on two supporters of Hillary Clinton’s 2008 primary campaign against Barack Obama who pushed the false “birther” narrative that Obama was born in Kenya. One of the supporters was Clinton’s longtime confidant Sidney Blumenthal who pitched the story to McClatchy’s former Washington Bureau Chief James Asher.

Meanwhile, former McClatchy Washington Bureau Chief James Asher tweeted Friday that Blumenthal had “told me in person” that Obama was born in Kenya.
“During the 2008 Democratic primary, Sid Blumenthal visited the Washington Bureau of McClatchy Co.,” Asher said in an email Friday to McClatchy, noting that he was at the time the investigative editor and in charge of Africa coverage.
“During that meeting, Mr. Blumenthal and I met together in my office and he strongly urged me to investigate the exact place of President Obama’s birth, which he suggested was in Kenya. We assigned a reporter to go to Kenya, and that reporter determined that the allegation was false. MORE

I read a piece about Trump several years ago (before Trump was running for any office) where the author suggested that critics may want to fact check Trump’s statements carefully before claiming bullshit. Many of Trump’s bombastic statements actually turn out to be true.
Along this line, the lack of shame by the MSM is astounding. In an effort to find dirt on Trump, the MSM will scoff at Trump statements that turn out to be correct, while ignoring Hillary’s blatant lies. No wonder press credibility is declining – these people are tools.

Everytime the deplorable Left distracts from the shape and mental state of Cankles by waving another lie at someone else, it comes back to bite their heads off. Facts are irrelevant to the Leftists. The bottom line is this: the Clintons (both of them) are mentally impaired, and neither one is able or should be allowed anywhere near the nuclear war football. Cankles is unstable, physically and mentally, as is patently obvious. Trump is stable, mentally and physically, to be President, and it is killing Slick and Hillary.
I am also wondering about the punishment against the Clintons if they flub the power grabs on behalf of the NWO. That group has spent untold fortunes on the Clintons, and to lose now may have consequences on both their heads of a lasting and fatal nature.

The McClatchy papers are, to my understanding, liberal and center left and have supported Clinton (or any Democrat) in the past so for a former bureau chief to state that the Clintons’ started the birther rumour is completely believable. The so-called fact-checkers that deny this are generally in the bag for the left and after reading some of their fact-checking stories one can believe they have tanked completely.
Clinton’s campaign strategist developed the birther tactic. A Clinton staffer spread it when the campaign was coming in a disasterous 3rd in Iowa. Sid Blumenthal – long time Clinton ally and as Hillary says “friend” spreads the story to the media yet Hillary had nothing to do with it, McClatchy finds.
How does she – and Obama – always get to play the victim while Trump and Republicans are guilty for things done by people they don’t know and never met?
