WFB: A radical Catholic priest and former adviser to Barack Obama invited Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan to speak at his Chicago parish.
Farrakhan was kicked off Facebook last week for his long history of hateful comments, including denouncing “wicked Jews.” In response, Father Michael Pfleger invited Farrakhan to speak at St. Sabina Church on Thursday to defend himself from charges of anti-Semitism.
“I have been and always will be a defender of free speech as I believe we must all continue to defend,” Pfleger told a local news station after the event.
In a statement, the Archdiocese of Chicago indicated they were not aware of the event and were not sponsoring it.

I don’t know that people are turning away from God as much as institutional religions and their churches.
So many are hopelessly corrupted and you’d need a fire to purge it. I’ve heard the stories of people trying to oust church leadership and its as vicious and personal as any for profit business with the added bonus of God picking a side.
No one’s going to try to remove Pflegler unless they find a live, white Christian woman in his bed.
Farrakhan getting kicked off Facebook was merely a token, an Al Franken/Harvey Weinstein, someone the left still adores but who is a big liability yet can be used to justify everything else the Left does.
