Former Phillies star Lenny Dykstra points to Jill Biden appearance after team loses World Series

BPR: Former Major League Baseball star Lenny Dykstra is using his Twitter account to mock Jill Biden for supposedly dashing the World Series hopes of the Philadelphia Phillies and their fans by her mere presence at Citizens Bank Ballpark, the latter’s home field.

The day after the elimination game, Dykstra — who played eight seasons for the Phillies after his trade from the New York Mets — playfully wrote that “Since the doctor showed up, the #Phillies went 0-3 with 9 total hits. #TheCooler.” more

  1. Yep, she brought THE BIDEN BLACK CLOUD OF DOOM AND FAILURE to Philadelphia and cursed the Phillies!….Cost me $100 buckeroos….

On a Lenny Dykstra side note….Afriend claims that Lenny Dykstra was the fist to coin the phrase ‘High Cheese’ when referring to a high fastball in 1985. I found a reference that said that Dennis Eckersly used that term in 1984, but I said that term had to be said much much earlier by someone like Casey Stengel, Connie Mack, Ty Cobb or maybe someone in the Negro leagues. I also said it would be impossible to trace it to one source…What do any of you baseball fans think?…

  2. Penny may have been referring to the HGH or other drugs he used as “high cheese.”

His injuries from being at the toughest position in baseball, catcher, required a lot of rehab, if you get my drift…he was a good aggressive player.
