Former President Trump makes first public comments since leaving office

Just The News:

Former President Donald Trump said on Friday in his first public comments since leaving office that he is planning to make a comeback, but he was short on details.

He told Rob Crilly of the Washington Examiner that “We’ll do something, but not just yet.” Trump was dining at the Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida when he made the comment.

The comment was similar to what he said Wednesday morning in his last hours in office, just before leaving for Florida, when he said that he would be back “in some form.”

Former Trump adviser Stephen Miller also spoke to the Washington Examiner on Friday, saying that “Florida is really the perfect place to be the new HQ of the MAGA movement and a launching pad for the president’s next endeavor.” more

  1. They’ll never let him back in the White House. He should focus his efforts on being a major thorn in the side of the Republicans by being the anti-Soros, fielding true conservative candidates against theirs, exposing the Party’s failings and malfeasance at every opportunity, sucking the money and momentum out of their base, and basically exposing them for what they are and forcing them to either clean up their act or fall by the wayside. And how sweet it would be if he could knock out McConnell and Romney the next time they’re up for reelection.

The Republicans think that we have no choice but to vote for their candidates. Show them how wrong they are.

Here’s my prediction for California. The slightly retarded Newsom gets impeached. He immediately runs again. They plug in the dial a vote machines, and guess what? He wins again.
We need voter ID and paper ballets. Nothing else is more important.

  3. I prefer he lay off a bit MORE… and take even MORE room away from them in their little minds.

I want them to STEW and BROIL.

    Wondering what 45 will say…

That sounds like rolling over and being part of the problem to me. It’s time to go scorched earth, and plan on a major mess to clean up. We actually do have a MAJOR mess to clean up, even now it might be too late.

  5. @HeatSync – McTurtle is not going to run again. He’s 78 years old, and as a result of his 2020 re-election, is in office till January 2027… Comrade Feinstein not withstanding, he’ll be 85 years old… This is how the swamp perpetuates itself. Someone with no future accountability is always at the top…

Well, people have been saying that it’s simply too hard to start a new party, and that we should focus on taking back the Republican Party from the establishment types. This is one way to do it. Soros didn’t achieve what he’s achieved by founding a new party, and he didn’t do it overnight, either — he did it by reshaping and redirecting the Democrat Party, and it took him years to do it. I hate what he’s done, but I can’t deny the results. And we can do the same thing with the Republicans, but it’s going to take time and effort and someone to spearhead that movement, and so why not now and why not Trump?

  7. I hate to say it but I agree that the swamp is too powerful AT THIS MOMENT to let Trump back in the White House.
I hate it but that is my opinion.
Say he gets 100 million votes.
His opponent, no matter who, will get 105 million.
    Tell me I’m wrong?
NOT a defeatist, just a realist.
I don’t think things can be repaired in four short years.

Never say never. Byrd was still in office ’til he died at 92, and I can see McConnell thinking he had one last term in him. And even if he did choose not to run, great — run someone with actual conservative principles for his seat, otherwise we’re stuck with another establishment Republican candidate and the problem perpetuates itself.

  9. Joe6, I JUST watched Animal House two nights ago!
I cannot believe they haven’t banned it.
When they went into that urban bar with Otis Day and the Nights singing, the college student says she is studying “primitive cultures” and they immediately pan to Otis! OMG!
    Yep, won’t be long…

  10. No way should Trump lay low. He’s letting everyone know there’s plans. Stay tuned. That’s what gets the liberals, they can do nothing about Trump. Trump should stay just in sigbts view of the libs, it will drive them over the edge.

  11. Loco, was that a great movie or what? One of the funniest things, or tragic, my wife forgot the whole movie, and had only seen censored versions of the movie, and thought it was funny. One time years ago when I was out of town, she thought it would be a good idea to get it for her and my 12 year old son. She couldn’t believe what she rented. It is not 12 year old appropriate. She also took my younger son and his friend (13 years old) to see Super Troopers. She needs to check with me on this stuff.

  12. Loco, what’s funny is after the Super Troopers fiasco, my wife drove the kids home an dropped the friend off, saying I bet your dad will be impressed with me taking you to see that. He replied “I’m impressed with you taking me to see that.”

  13. @ǝpɐɥsʇɥɓᴉuɹǝdnS – they installed Biden by stealing an election and buying off Congress and SCOTUS.

Let’s bring Trump back with an army and re-inaugurate him.

“…Let’s bring Trump back with an army and re-inaugurate him.”

…sure, let me muster my guys…

    HI…OH! FWD!

(Runs a couple of steps, looks back)

    …oh, right, I don’t HAVE guys!

…if DJT couldn’t rally the troops to his side, we’re not getting anywhere. The generals were all purged in 8 “Obama” years, and they started political vetting of the enlisted at the Fakeaguration, and believe me, their Chinese mentors know how to politically vet very large armies of soldiers.

…whatever WE would do, would end up like THIS…

…it’s not by big booms we’re going to have any hope, but little things. Can’t be any clearer than that in this very public forum because ALL communications are monitored.

But I will never accept or obey a pedophile.

And that’s all I’m going to say about that.

  15. One problem I see in the state elections and national until DJT is your choice at the ballot box, it’s usually between a far left nut and a corrupt or soon to be corrupt Republican.
Having worked doors to get the R in only to be kicked to the curb when they win. Not even the time of day.
They don’t play fair or legally but that’s just how they operate, to them this is their religion. Money, power and perversion.
