Just The News- G.Gordon Liddy, known for his role in the Watergate scandal, died on Tuesday at his daughter’s house in Virginia at the age of 90-years-old.
According to the Washington Post, while the man’s son Thomas P. Liddy confirmed his father’s passing, he did not provide a cause of death but did note that it was not connected to coronavirus.
Liddy was “the undercover operative whose bungling of the Watergate break-in triggered one of the gravest constitutional crises in American history and led to the resignation of President Richard M. Nixon,” according to the outlet. more
Hell of a guy
Loved his radio show.
“With ramrod-straight posture and a trademark brushy mustache, Liddy was known for his bravado. He bragged about being able to hold his hand over a flame without flinching and spoke of being able to kill a person with just a pencil. When callers to his radio show asked how he was doing, he barked, “Virile, vigorous and potent!””

Given the lack of will and purpose, the diminished levels of testosterone, and the pussification of today’s males, he probably died of embarrassment.
Take Dan Bongo and that pedophile Charlie Kirk with you.
Have you guys noticed all the people over 90 that have been dying lately?
Conspiracy?
When I first discovered AM political talk radio, Liddy was one I listened to. I recall Bob Dornan and Bo Gritz around that time, also.
RIP G. Gordon, say hello to Joe Foss for me
That rat he claims he ate while in prison finally got revenge
Yes Aaron but RBG was only 87…
Because the election was already in the bag for biden*, she had to go three years early…
G Gordon Liddy is a hell of a name!
I’m thinking Michael Crichton is welcoming him home with that novel worthy appellation…
RBG clearly lied about her age.
Personally, I’m shooting for 120. Which is admittedly a questionable goal. Because apparently after the age of 90 the government gives Death your address.
But I’m also hoping science can download muh brainpan into some sort of electrical gizmo.
Hopefully a pinball machine.
One of the really cool ones.
Participated in the JFK operation – his role – shoot J.D. Tippit in the back of the head. He screwed it up
RIP
One of the last men to actually serve in government.
izlamo delenda est …
Ran into Gordon When he was involved in a Federal trial at the Baltimore Courthouse (he ate lunch at my hotel restaurant almost everyday).
Was a wonderful guy who joked around and had a quick smile but didn’t suffer fools well. Thanks for the memories.
Loved his radio show.
Loved his unashamed masculinity.
And the Stacked and packed calendars with scantily clad young women carrying guns. I remember the story he told once about the guy caught out in public at a picnic bench screwing a pumpkin. I got a good laugh out of that.
“Will” is one of the best books that I have read in my life. Recently picked it up on audio book, still great after all of these years.
