Georgia Dem Gubernatorial Candidate Stacey Abrams Says She’d Ban The AR-15, Dodges The Question On Confiscation

Daily Caller: Democratic gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams said on Tuesday’s “The View” that she would support a ban on the AR-15 — but she changed the subject when asked whether she would also support confiscation of AR-15s already in circulation in her home state of Georgia.

Abrams, who is hoping to become the first black governor of Georgia, appeared on “The View” to discuss her campaign — and host Meghan McCain pressed her on her views regarding the Second Amendment.

McCain began:

You have been endorsed by Everytown, an anti-gun organization. Michael Bloomberg’s anti-gun group as well. You say you’re proud to have an ‘F’ rating from the NRA, and Michael Bloomberg and others like him, in the wake of what happened in Pittsburgh, support taking the AR-15, which is the most popular rifle in America, away from people. Do you, like Everytown, support banning the AR-15?

  9. This is the woman and the campaign who is smearing her opponent, Brian Kemp, lying that as GA Secy of State, he is responsible for voter suppression because his office has been and is going through the voter rolls to get rid of bad voter data.

    A very dear friend (who is a stupid liberal), was all up in arms the other day, angrily talking about “Jack” Kemp down in Georgia — “..a crooked, typical Republican! That’s Republicans do! They suppress the vote!!”

    When I pointed out that his name is Brian, not Jack, and that he isn’t suppressing the vote (and offered to send her a 30 minute interview he did where he lays out exactly what his office is doing to true the vote), she came totally unhinged and went straight to the “All Republicans just want to go back some kind of ‘good old days’!” nonsense.

    I’m not too hard on her because she’s a stupid liberal who is smart enough to realize at some point that she’s been had. It’ll come to her suddenly, I know it will. And I want to be able to comfort her when it does.

  17. Question. Why hasn’t the media asked her about her sexuality?
    She is single, never married, and has long been known to have female partners. Plus she is another YALE liberal grad with an openly socialist agenda. If elected, it will likely be because the Liberals are playing the same racial color angle they used to get Obama in office.
