Georgia State Election Board Passes Rule Requiring Hand-Count of Ballots at Precinct Level

GP: In a big win today, the Georgia State Election Board passed Resolution 181-1-12-.12 by a 3-2 count.  The resolution simply requires the hand counting of physical paper ballots at the precinct level to ensure it matches the total reported by the tabulators.  This does not involve a hand-count tabulation of the vote totals but rather simply the total number of physical ballots cast at that particular precinct. more

  1. I hope against hope that this is a step in the right direction. If I remember correctly, Fulton County alone had around 300,000 votes counted that it couldn’t produce actual ballots for. This might help prevent the wholesale fabrication of votes without actual ballots to back them up. Our election system is populated by criminals right now (like Raffensperger among many), but we have to start somewhere until we can put the current scum in prison for stealing elections. Hopefully we can elect a governor who is not criminal scum (as is sitting governor Kemp) who will do away with the voting machines altogether.

  2. Like cheating can’t happen by counting votes this way. Nice try by the far-right who know their candidate ain’t gotta chance in hell this Nov. First of all this will be shot down by a judge. Their election committee/commission can not pass laws only the Georgia state legislation can do this. 2nd it’s too close to the election for any type of legislation to be passed. This is nothing less than cheaters trying to cheat the system but what else would one expect from criminals.
