The Lid: Ladies and Gentlemen, the PC Police are attacking freaking cookies! Specifically, gingerbread man cookies. You know— cookies made of gingerbread, usually in the shape of a stylized human. They are generally baked around the Christmas holiday. I must confess that although I am Jewish, I too enjoy those tasty cookies (please don’t accuse me of cultural appropriation).
Now apparently the Scottish Parliament has banned gingerbread men (on their premises) as part of a new drive to “stamp out sexism.” Stamp out sexism? Cookies? Perhaps that why some Scottish men wear skirts (kilts), to display equality of sexes (as well as their hairy legs). MORE

How can gingerbread men be sexist when they’re not real men? Or is everything sexist nowadays if it has the word man in it? Like mankind, manly, man’s best friend (a dog), man of war (a ship), or anything else to do with being a man etc. etc. Woman has the word man it, are they going to ban that as well, the same with human and humanity, manhood, man caves etc.

My uncle Bob was a member of the 5th Marine division in World War 2 and was at Iwo Jima and was within 100 yds. of the top of Mt. Suribachi when the Marines raised the American flag in probably one of the most famous pictures of WW 2. He witnessed it all right in front of him, he went on to be a mechanic in the Boise, Id. area and really didn’t say a lot about the war except that he was there when they raised the American flag which was probably his proudest moment as a Marine.
This is why England would be infinitely better off without Scotland. Left them separate and go their own way. Almost overnight England would have a heavily conservative government in the vein of Thatcher and while the negotiations to separate would be tough it end result would be well worth it. There would be a damn sight lot more enthusiasm for Brexit as well.
When will this stupidity STOP? Put your drugs away and hope that your brain will begin functioning, again.
