  1. “minority of the party who were prepared to cause total chaos”

“62 percent of the Republicans in this country are mad at Boehner and [Senate Majority Leader Mitch] McConnell,”

I’m confused, is the majority now the new minority?

  2. “prepared to cause total chaos” I personally think that total chaos in our current bunch of ‘elected’ representatives might not be a bad thing. We elect them for a purpose and they go there and nothing changes. If it takes chaos in DC to change and steer America back towards what the Founding Fathers envisioned, then bring it on.
If total chaos means gov’t shut down. GOOD. I have said all along truly shut it down, all Federal programs. None of this pick and choose. Shut it all down. And lets discover as Americans what parts we truly do need and let the rest of a shut down for good. I can assure you there would be many parts of the gov’t that no one except those employed that we as a nation never miss.

  3. When Newt remembers the perks he had as Speaker, he forgets that it was his bomb throwing from the back benches that got them for him–and that he lost them when he went establishment.

I know the photo happened after he left the House, but his sitting on a loveseat with Nancy Pelousy for posterity made me swear off him for good.

  4. Funny how the ones who steal, fuckup, break their oaths of office, sell out their party and their country, commit treason, engage in perfidy, conspire with the socialists and lie about it – are NEVER the ones who should be blamed!

It’s always the fault of the one who points out the lying, thieving, corrupt, sack of monkey shit who is the wrongdoer.

  5. One thing I’ve learned about politics is that it doesn’t matter if they are liberal/conservative, it is all a good old boy system and they will always have each other backs.
