Not within say the last 5 to 7 years, during that time they have aligned almost perfectly.
What little ray of hope I still have left, it is once-committed progressives like Greenwald, and many others, that have opened their eyes and can now see what “their side” stands for. Greenwald knows the drill, it would be great if he went to see this iid and offered him his services.
And this is reason 682 why conservatives are different, process information differently, and still cling to some absolute truths. The left decries leaks like this only when it makes their side look bad or embarrasses them. For me, and I think most here (not all) can put down our team jersey and welcome evidence of any lies that our leaders are spreading. If Trump was president and this guy did the same thing, exposing lies told by our leaders, I would welcome it just as enthusiastically. They work for us. Hero worship or starry-eyed infatuation has no place in politics.
