Liberty Daily: Community “charity” fundraising company GoFundMe demonstrated they’re woke and fascist at the same time by canceling the Freedom Convoy campaign and promising to send the $9+ million raised to “approved charities.” Now, they’re scrambling to fix the PR nightmare that ensued by moving to refund all donations.
The company had hoped that by dropping the news late on a Friday that they’d avoid some of the backlash. But it was quickly seized by conservatives across social media as an example of the totalitarian nature of the left. We didn’t let them oppose freedom without voicing our opinions and pushing to make them feel the pain. more here

Go ahead and file the request and complain. For each chargeback that they incur, there is a $15 fee. If they just refund it, there is no pain for them, and they may even try to profit from interest on the account. If they want to be assholes, they should learn some of their rules. They’re scared of everyone requesting/complaining and the bankruptcy it would cause.
They shouldn’t just go bankrupt. These bastards should be criminally charged and, if that produces no effect, at least be thrown into the street with tin cups and #4 lead pencils in lefty run cities. You know, the kind of cities their heroes burned down…
I believe @billyhall2546 ☑ zeroed in on the real reason: without the automatic refunds, GFM¹ would be looking at thousands and thousands of chargebacks each one representing significant bank/VISA fees and administrative overhead. It would have been be EXTREMELY expensive on top of the huge loss of good will.
