Zero Hedge: More than two weeks after Election Day, the size of the Republican Party’s US Senate majority has now been finalized at 53 seats, after three-term incumbent Democratic Sen. Bob Casey conceded the Pennsylvania race on Thursday.
Out of nearly 7 million votes cast, Republican challenger Dave McCormick — a West Point grad, Gulf War vet and former CEO of hedge fund Bridgewater Associates — is up by just 16,000 with 99.8% of votes counted. The tiny margin — just 0.2% — triggered an automatic recount that started on Monday; an announcement of the result had been expected to come next Wednesday, but Casey’s concession ends the recount. more here
But somehow they will STILL not doing anything good for America…just watch.
The five squishes that torpedoed Matt Gaetz’s confirmation, without even a Senate hearing, will be a long-term problem.
This majority is illusory.
Make them famous.
Mitch McConnell (R-KY)
Lisa Murkowski (R-AK)
Susan Collins (R-ME)
Markwayne Mullin (R-OK)
Sen.-elect John Curtis (R-UT)
The people in Utah are not all that smart.
Still more RINOs to flush.
Lampposts and guillotines are still an option.
53-5=Still a Democrat majority.
bitch mccunthole, still roaming free
Collins is my Maine senator.
My republican friends had the vapors when I said Id rather vote for a dem rather than that bitch. If we had elected a dem to replace her years back, we’d have had a new republican in that position now.
Prove me wrong.
There are at least 4 hardcore RINO’s that vote with the Dems every time.
Casey had to concede as any further inquiry would reveal Pennsylvania ballot stuffing. They got caught cheating!
