JTN: General Motors this week said it would “pause” advertising on Twitter after billionaire Elon Musk secured a takeover of the site with the express goal of expanding free speech upon it.

  1. so after gaining trillions of dollars of tax money from us to save their sucky car company from going under due to mismanagement, crap cars and outrageous Union contracts, Gubmint Motors decides they can not handle free speech and the truth…..got it! I swore I would never by a GM after the bailout and this just reinforces that position that much more!

  2. All auto companies are making big bucks on the “chip shortage” BS. MSRP + $$$$$, on every vehicle people were dumb enough to buy.
All to drive inflation even further.
Oil, formula, and chips all made up shortages, then pretend to fix it.
Maybe Musk can collect the $11,308,238,095, GM still owes in 2008 TARP funds.

  3. Chevrolet – Buick – Cadillac – GMC.

Never owned one, never will. I hate cadillac for 1 and Chevy now makes only the Malibu and the Spark – 2 shitty cars – The rest, between all 4 brands are trucks, Shitillacs, or EVs. NOPE!

Don’t forget, ACDelco is made by GM. Just in case you need a new battery.

  4. After the P.O.S. Pontiac I bought in 1978 that tried to KILL me on more than one occasion, I swore that I’d never buy another American made vehicle. I’ve stuck to that for 44 years. (I tend to hold grudges for a long time)

  5. Another thing, these GM products would be made in China, and in fact are made in China, but we’re not seeing them in the states thanks to Trump’s import tax. For now, these are assembled in US and Mexico with parts from many different countries. Honda has more US assembly plants than GM and it’s easier to find a Honda made in US than it is a GM product. My neighbor is a union goon and owns and has owned nothing but Chevy for over 20 years. And in 20 years has burned thru 7 Chevys. Some people never learn.

Same with the goons riding around on their Harleys made in America – Fuck yea – Except they’re not.

  6. In 2015 I bought a Toyota Tacoma to replace my 1993 Hi Lux. I don’t expect to need another car until 2037, and it damn sure won’t be a GM. I saved about $90,K driving that ’93.

  7. I have loved a few gm products over the years,i.e. 68 Camaro Convertible, 67 Chevelle Convertible, 65 Malibu SS, 76 Eldorado Convertible….. loved them all and sorry I let them go so soon…..

  8. I have owned many GM products through the years, beginning with my 1970 Nova SS (which I still own) and 4 pickups (of which my 2007 was my favorite). GM pissed me off this year by refusing to pay for warranty work on my 2020, then making and breaking promises to me. I hope this truck lasts as long as my last one, because I won’t be buying another GM, and Ford is out of the question. If I have to buy another truck, I guess it will be a Ram or Toyota.
