The Three Stooges, now thatโs entertainment! They caused me to miss the school bus many times.

Years ago I visited the Falls. I was walking across one of those little bridges between the islands upstream from the falls and a gust of wind blew off my baseball cap into the water. As it floated downstream just a few feet from the shore I ran along the shore. I got ahead of it and then tried to reach out to grab it as it floated toward me. It was just out of reach… Maybe if I jumped in I could grab it.
Then I realized it was just a stupid hat and not worth the risk of dying for. I let it float past and then about 1 minute later it went over the falls.

My daughter and son-in-law got married in the park on the American side of the falls on August 9, 2008. It was just beautiful, the wedding pictures with the water in the background are gorgeous, passing tourists taking pictures of the wedding party. LOL We had such a great time that weekend roaming on both sides of the border. Now they take their kids up there and have fun with them. Beautiful place, wonderful memories. ๐

I was born in Buffalo and have lived most of my life in and around Rochester, I’ve been to Niagara Falls many times, including when the American Falls was shut off in 1969. Now that was quite a sight. Going over to the Canadian side for a day trip was always a blast too, or heading for Crystal Beach amusement park.
