Netflix has come under fire recently after releasing the film “Cuties,” which was widely criticized for oversexualizing young girls. I had only seen (and been thoroughly repulsed by) the trailer for the film, which went viral on social media due to widespread disgust with it – and the consensus among those who’ve actually watched the film is that it’s much, much worse than the trailer.
Some went as far as to accuse Netflix of circumventing laws against child pornography. more
so does this mean that any county, city or state that has anti-porn laws can sue noFlix out of business???
You’re watching “Godfather” #1 and right in the middle of a gangster film is a segment of sexual nature – the wedding night. It meant nothing to the theme of the movie about organized crime, but there it was.
The movie “Cuties” is not about 11 yr old girls, it’s about the oppression of women and the degrading way men treat women they claim to love.
The opening scene is a group of Muslim women being instructed to obey their husbands and to dress/act modestly at all times.
It goes downhill from there – men are the target, all men, not just men who lust after young girls.
The dance scenes are just fluff meant to draw an audience.
IMO, of course
…not gonna get my Irish up today.
Just gonna say that, when it comes to molesters, I don’t want them out of business,
I want them DEAD.
…it’s very literally the ONLY thing that stops them.

Actually, I am going to get my Irish up (the <10% of me that is Irish, and I also have the DNA tests – through my parents to prove it). This is an abomination
When Jean Bennett Ramsey’s murder was on the news, they showed clips of her performances. They reminded me of the dance numbers on Benny Hill, or something by Marilyn Monroe, only with a toddler. Every time I saw one of these clips, I thought it was soft-core kiddie porn, and that if I had downloaded any of those performances onto my computer, they’d throw my carcass in the slammer. Thankfully, Honey Boo Boo in Toddlers and Tiaras probably destroyed that sleazy industry (as well as that South Park episode with Michael Jackson’s soul possessing Ike).
