Grandson of Cleveland mayor in custody after high-speed chase

PARMA – Frank Q. Jackson, grandson of Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson, was taken into custody Sunday, Jan. 24, at Parma Police Department after a police pursuit.

Parma Police the 24-year-old Jackson led officers on a high-speed chase shortly after midnight on Sunday.

An officer pulled Jackson over because his windows were tinted too darkly, according to a release. He was alone in the car, the release said..

When officers asked Jackson to exit his vehicle, Jackson pulled away as an officer held on to him. The officer ran with the vehicle and was freed without serious injury, police said. more

Cleveland’s Mayor Frank Jackson’s grandson charged in domestic violence case.

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Cleveland prosecutors brought a criminal domestic violence charge against the grandson of Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson.

Frank Q. Jackson, 24, is charged with first-degree misdemeanor domestic violence in Cleveland Municipal Court in a domestic dispute involving him and his child’s mother, according to court records. He is not in custody, and it is unknown when he will appear in court.

A warrant issued Wednesday says Frank Q. Jackson, “Did knowingly cause or attempt to cause physical harm to the mother of his child.” more

  2. That’s TWO domestic violence charges, one in 2019, the second in 2020, and then the high speed chase. Obviously a case of systemic racism in the Cleveland PD. Defund them now.

  3. Kristen Clarke states that NO CRIME was committed – or could be. Mr. Jackson is so richly endowed with Melanin that he could not possibly be held to legal standards that apply to those lesser folk not so well endowed.
