6 Comments on Great Question For Democrats and Republicans

  1. It is not a strange coincidence that every time Congress names a particular bill, the outcome (damage) is exactly the opposite.

This slush fund (which few know about and even fewer get to peruse)was established under the Congressional Accountability Act, taxpayer funds are used with zero public disclosure.

I would also like a public accounting of the names/charges/outcomes for all those that were investigated and/or censured by the Congressional Ethics Board.

They keep carping about transparency; prove it.

  2. First of all, change the terminology. It’s not the Congressional Slush Fund. It is the Law-Abiding, Over-Taxed Payer Slush Fund.
Secondly, I agree, why should the people have to pay for the crimes of politicians and why is there no transparency?
Of course we all know why!

  3. The fact that they block their release gives license to believing every last claim made regarding any of them is true and it is fair to judge them based on that. Don’t like it? Release the files.
