Newfoundland and Labrador (one Province) have some tremendous Natural Resources, recently discovered, such as Titanium and a kind of copper that does not need smelting. Both of these are necessary for US Military uses, and the titanium discovery will challenge China’s lead in production of that mineral.
The US would be in a good place with both Canada and Greenland as US States.
