This is nothing more than a monument to stupidity and a total waste of public funds. If any president needs an ego boost then let them build a library out of their own pocket or with donations from the gullible. I resent having my tax dollars being appropriated for the glorification of any president.

The Obama Monument is a giant waste of space that does nothing useful, will never be finished for many, many years, will cost far more than the original budget, is largely unwanted by the people, and will damage the quality of life for the residents of the area by taking a part of Jackson park. All of this just to massage the ego of one man who doesn’t deserve it.
Come to think of it, this is the perfect monument for Barack Obama.
Make ANY federal funding for Obama’s proposed library contingent on finishing President Trump’s proposed wall on the southern border.
