Canada’s legendary lake monster Ogopogo may soon be celebrated by way of an enormous sculpture that a group hopes to create for their local community.

  1. Okanagan Lake looks pretty nice. I’ve driven by it. Orchards and wineries on the surrounding hills. Warmest summer climate in Canada, I’ve heard. But alas I’ll never see it again. Due to high prices for flying and hotel stays everywhere, we’re sticking to our home state of California after this year, but we will have our 17th and last vacation to Hawaii.

  2. @Hunter,

Funny thing about Wawa. When I was back in Maryland a couple years ago, I would gas up at Wawa Stations which seem to have a goose as an emblem.

I don’t know if there is a connection between them and Wawa Ontario or not. Maybe it’s just a coincidence.
