Numerous gun groups have filed a lawsuit to eliminate the National Firearms Act (NFA) regulations that were initially targeted by the House GOP in the Big Beautiful Bill but allowed to stand after changes were made in the Senate.
On May 22, 2025, Breitbart News reported that language the House used in the BBB eliminated the tax and registration requirement on suppressors. The BBB then went to the Senate where the tax and regulation on short-barrel firearms were also removed until the Senate parliamentarian rejected the language. more
The whole NFA is nothing but a cauldron of infringements.
Repeal it. All of it.
GOA is one of the few gun rights orgs that actually do something besides collect money. They had their suit filed and ready to submit before Trump signed the bill.
@Brad — GOA is much like Tom Fitton’s Judicial Watch, always energetically and intelligently hammering away at the bad guys and the bad laws.
I think maybe GOA does more lobbying than JW, but that’s the nature of what they’re trying to do.
I’ve been a life member of GOA for longer than I can remember. Money well spent.

Back when we were hot and heavy into the guns one of the higher ups in the California chapter use to stop in and see us all the time. we were on his way home. We helped him out with a couple petition drives. Fast forward, he got bumped up to the national level and had to relocate. Our county sheriff hit me up about a year a go wanting to know if I knew anybody in GOA that could help him get a county kids and guns thing going on. So I reached out to the guy and he hooked our sheriff up big time. GOA actually has a damn good training program for kids. A great organization with damn smart people.
Looking forward to watching this battle. Every one should have an SBR with a can on it.
Good, if some 16 year old ni66er scumbag in Chicago can own a full auto rifle, the I damn well should be able to own one without fear of arrest.
