Gun regulators have admitted to violating the Second Amendment

WaEx:

On Dec. 11, Gun Owners of America argued before the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals that the government’s recently enacted ban on bump stocks is illegal.

The organization’s argument is by no means controversial. The government bureau that made them illegal, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives, even admitted in a court filing that it lacks authority under the Gun Control Act and National Firearms Act to issue the rule. In short, it violated the Second Amendment as a way of reaping more power for itself, and that should not be tolerated.

The GOA can and will continue fighting the illicit actions of gun regulators as they arise in court, and they will be penalized; however, this piecemeal approach can only go so far. It is high time for Second Amendment advocates in Congress and the White House to begin taking action to reform the rogue bureau.

After all, this isn’t the first time the ATF has disregarded the law. Just two months ago, a judge similarly found the bureau to have been enforcing laws that don’t exist against gun owners. The bureau has been pretending that receivers are bound by the same draconian D.C. regulations as entire put-together firearms and have been threatening their manufacturers with prosecution for not going through the full regulatory process. read more

Butttttt………That damn sure will NOT stop them from continuing to assault the 2nd Amendment, regardless of the United States Constitution.

  2. If all we get from these court cases from the BATFE and ATTTB is, “Sorry about that. You caught us. We bad”. And there are no negative consequences such as: people being fired, blocked from farther government employment, some jail time, and personally fined (no passing the payment of fines onto the taxpayer) for their illegal actions. They will continue to do it again, and again. Just admitting illegal actions is not enough.

  3. @bill,
a bazooka would be nice but I would prefer the modern version… an RPG launcher. There are so very many different rounds for them that the versatility makes it a must-have.

Of coarse after a healthy supply of RPG rounds I would want to up the anti with some other shoulder-fired rockets in the anti-tank and anti-air flavors along with a few useful items like thermite grenades, a hand held 6-shot grenade launcher, a few thousand rounds for it, a SAW with a few million rounds for it, as well as other long rifles, hand guns, and all the ammo to go with them.

    There…. gun-porn fantasy over for now….

  4. The Second Amendment was put in place to stop the government from taking over and to protect the US Constitution. Its another right that our officials are not protecting, we will have to.

  5. Politicians and bureaucrats admit to violating the Constitution because they know that nobody will hold them accountable. The federal government has been rogue for decades (ignoring the Constitution). They are so confident in their power at this point that they will even admit to us what they’re doing. They don’t pretend to care how obvious they are anymore. The only thing that matters to them is that taxpayers don’t do anything to stop them.

  6. No government can take away natural rights given by nature’s God. Whether there is a 2nd Amendment or not makes no difference, natural law is natural law.

Anyone who ‘enforces’ UN-natural law therefore is violating the laws of nature, and becomes an enemy of nature and of God. Lethal force is authorized against enemies of nature.

I don’t give a rats ass what the Supreme fools say. I know what’s right and what’s wrong. Step carefully on this one Tyrants, lest you bring the house down on your head.
