Breitbart: Amid a relentless Democrat-sponsored campaign for increasing gun control, guns and related accessories are topping Christmas lists around the country.
Breitbart News previously reported that November was the seventh consecutive month of record background checks in America, and gun stores indicate December is on track to break more records.
According to The Guardian, “Gun shop owners across the US have reported a marked increase in interest in their products over the holidays.” Store owners say “most” people are shopping for guns to give as gifts. read more
It’s the gift that keeps on giving, the whole year through.

additional magazines and ammo make great stocking stuffers
Have you ever noticed “GUNS” spelled backward is SNUG? That’s how I feel when I have my favorite S&W or Sig on my hip. Merry Christmas, everybody.
My son came home on leave and brought me one helluva Christmas present—a 300 Blackout AR pistol! Shoots like a dream!
Gonna make the best truck gun ever!
What a great Christmas!
Well, I did my part and bought a new Glock yesterday using my Christmas money from my darling, darling father-in-law!
I want either a guided projectile or a directed-energy weapon.
Happy to say, I no longer own guns, they were all lost in a tragic canoeing accident many years ago. I don’t remember when or where as I also hit my head and have since lost about 70% of my memory. Thankfully my friends brought me home where I was cared for by my family before I made a full recovery and saw on the news that gun are bad.
My step-daughter proudly texted a picture of her new handgun her hubby bought her for Christmas. We’re going to the range together.
Congress has a big FU for the American people in the works:
H.R.4269 – Assault Weapons Ban of 2015

It’s even worse than it sounds.
The gun frenzy has just started. We have more people buying after Christmas than before.
I was studying up on the 300 AAC Blackout earlier this evening and ran across a pretty neat video on Lehigh Defense rounds for it. The vid is about 20 minutes long but they shoot through walls into gel blocks and into gel blocks with denim and beef ribs in front as well. They try 3 different loads and the lighter, supersonic lodads seem to be the best for self defense (not over penetrating but devastating wound cavities in gel). Thought it might interest you. Congrats – your son must be a fine fella.

My bad – I forgot to put the period after the link.
they’re just gonna run every inch of your property with a magnetometer, aren’t they? heh, and they still won’t find nothun,
I guess you know you’re making a good product when much larger manufacturers start bad mouthing you on your own face book page. Boy am I pissed.
The worst caliber available on the platform is 5.56/223.
Brad – do you see the 300 blackout building up some sales momentum? (both the firearms and the ammo) The cartridges are still pretty expensive but I’m thinking the price may drop over time if it becomes a more popular round. The ballistics on some of the lighter, supersonic rounds are very comparable to the 7.62×39 (at least on paper) and even the heavier subsonic loads appear to be plenty adequate for taking hogs within 100 yards or so (so deer (or people if necessary) should be no problem – there were several vids of hog hunts with instant 1 shot kills using a suppressor with subsonic rounds).
The videos I watched tonight said all the parts for the 300 AAC is the same as the 5.56 except for the barrel (even uses the same bolt) which seems like a good feature. It seems to me the only real drawback is the cost of the ammo and it might be worthwhile to invest in some reloading equipment long term to overcome that.
My favorite caliber for the platform is 7.62 by 39 followed by 300 Blackout. Ballisticaly they are both similar to a 30-30. 300 Blackout Ammo seems to becoming more available and we are srtarting to build more and more of them. The 300 Blackout was designed to run suppressed and that’s been an issue. However manufacturers are learning if they run a carbine length as system and open the gas hole in the barrel to .110 they can run sub and super fairly reliably. The cool thing about the 300 is you do run the same bolt and the same mags. If you get the feeding issues and the bolt issues straightened out on the 7.62 by 39 it’s tough to bear .22 cents a round Ammo. And it hit hard.
Thanks for the response. Maybe by the time I get enough money to buy something, you guys will have the 7.62 issues figured out.
