I really hate that analogy. I’ll go with Trump is like Howie Long.
I’m not sure I’d like the Howie Long analogy either. He has spent a lot of energy trying to rationalize what the anthem kneelers we’re trying to accomplish. His son Chris was an active kneeler. I’m trying to think of who in the sports world would be a good comparison. Maybe George Steinbrenner? I think it needs to be someone from New York.

I missed that. Very disappointing.
Howie Long was a hell of a football player, I was a fan of his. He describes his feelings as being the result of spending as much time as he has with black Americans on his teams and trying to understand what they have gone through as they grew up.
