  1. Where did the cowboys on the range get the Panko?

I’m not not a big onion ring fan, but I wouldn’t mind trying that.

SNS: I wounded if he defines what “original seasoning” is on his web site.

  2. I like this old coot, but you do not feed onions (or garlic) to dogs ever as it can make them very sick. And definitely no WD-40 to fry the onion rings in. That muddy dog at the end looks like my border collie Kirby when he comes in after it rains, he turns into a giant mud bug on rainy days and loves every minute of it.

  3. …FWIW, I participate in cooking for literal armies, and both the Government AND my employer would be quite unhappy if we didn’t precisely measure ingredients, and all our cooks are guys so SOMETIMES guys measure, if only to ensure consistency…

  4. Uncle Al, I agree. I’ve had better just a few times – thick cut onions double fried for extra crispy.

But Culver’s is real onion and fresh out of the fryer every time. A- is a good grade for them.

“^^^LOL, I don’t think those things are even made out of onions.”

…yep, the thing inside the breading is so rubbery I’d suspect it was undercooked calamari if BB weren’t so cheap…

  6. We used beer batter at Boomerang’s.

They wanted us to use the cheap tap beer, but one morning I had to use some kind of dark tap beer and it was an instant success.
